- Sports: Volleyball, soccer, and football — it changes from year to year
- Proceeds: All proceeds stay local

Come Out and Support Our Area Athletes
Every fall, schools around Jacksonville dedicate a night to cancer awareness — and the Mia Ware Foundation is there. The sport changes from year to year. Some seasons it is volleyball, some years soccer or football. What does not change is where the money goes: all proceeds stay local.
Events we have been part of include:
- Annual JHS vs. Routt Volley for a Cure — Routt Dome, JV starts at 6:00 PM
- Franklin High School Volleyball Pink Week
- JHS Soccer — Kick for a Cure
- Triopia Annual Volley for Hope — JV starts at 6:00 PM
- Illinois College vs. Knox College football
